Last week I neglected to point your way in the direction of the Station Showcase with PRX. Aaron Henkin, the producer pictured here pushing the faders on the mixing board with his head, lovingly curates this podcast every week. Last week they featured my story on musician Andrew Bird, which if you’ve ever visited this site is a story you would probably say is sooo last year. But what’s not last year is the interview Aaron did with me for the Station Showcase web site about the piece. You can read all about the decisions and accidents that happened when I was making the story and why I think unnarrated radio stories often suck. Also. I’m a pretty big fan of the Jenny Asarnow story which was featured on the podcast in April. Yes indeed.
